Calling all PhD students! We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your research and academic skills: the CAPABLE (Common Academic Practices and Abilities in Learning for Research) PhD student training 2024.
This three-part program offers a comprehensive package to enhance your research journey:
- Online Seminar Series (September-November 2024): Gain valuable insights through four two-hour online seminars covering research methods, academic writing, scientific publishing, and presentation skills (both online and in-person).
- PhD Student Conference in Uppsala (11-14 November 2024): Present your research, receive feedback from peers and experts, and network with local researchers at a four-day conference at Uppsala University. The program includes a design thinking workshop, scientific presentation sessions, and a dedicated networking event. Accommodation and food are covered for all participants, with additional travel support available for Ukrainian students.
- Online Course on Academic Pedagogies (Spring 2025): This online course equips you with the necessary skills to excel in teaching roles within higher education.
